Sharon Hammang

Sharon Hammang, age 77, passed away on November 29, 2025. She was born to Grady and Rachel Modisette on October 3, 1948, in Lufkin, Texas. Sharon graduated from Permian High School in Odessa, Texas. She later met and married the love of her life, Jack Hammang, and they eventually made Plymouth, Minnesota their home.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Hammang; her parents, Grady Modisette and Rachel Modisette McWhorter; and her stepfather, Samuel Morris McWhorter.

Sharon is survived by her sons, Christopher Minyard and Jason Hammang; stepdaughter, Derri Snapp (David); grandchildren, Jessica Clark (Brian) and Jeremy Snapp; great-grandchildren, Jaylynn and Andrew Clark; brother, Don Modisette (Nancy); nieces and nephews; and many special friends including Rebecca (Becky) Lane and family, Barb Shonka and family.

A celebration of her life will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Hammer Residence.
