Sharon Hedman

Sharon Hedman, 84, of Maple Grove passed away on Monday, August 4, 2025 after a brief illness. Born to Marvin and Janet Bates on June 1, 1941 in Little Rock, Arkansas. Graduate of South High School in Minneapolis, Sharon worked for US West/ Quest for 20 years. She was involved with Telephone Pioneer, Silver Sneakers and loved to sew and bake. Sharon was a resident at Applewood Point for 2 years.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Hedman; infant son, James; parents, Marvin and Janet Bates.

Sharon is survived by her sons, Michael (Sharon), Patrick, and Peter; daughter, Susan (Joseph) Koch; grandchildren, Joel, Fr. Paul, Stephen, and Serena; beloved cat, Pepper; and other family and friends.

Visitation will be Sunday, August 17 from 5 to 8pm with a rosary service starting at 7pm at Gearty- Delmore Plymouth Chapel 15800 37th Ave N, Plymouth 55446. Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday, August 18 at 10am with a visitation an hour prior at St. Raphael Catholic Church, 7301 Bass Lake Rd, New Hope 55428.
