Sharon Leck

Sharon A. Leck, 86, of Carver, formerly of Maple Grove, entered into eternal life on July 27, 2026.

Born on December 10, 1939, Sharon was the daughter of Colette (Huntington) Sir and Joseph Sir. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, George A. Leck; her cherished son, Bradley Joseph Leck; and her parents.

She is survived by her son, Brian (Trisha) Leck; her daughter, Julie Meyer; her treasured grandchildren, Collin, Andrew, Ayiana, Anna, Angelica, and Maria; her sister, Colleen Gill; and many nieces, nephews, relatives, and dear friends.

Faith was the center of Sharon's life. She loved the Lord, was active in prayer groups, and formed many lifelong friendships through her church. She lived her faith every day through her kindness, generosity, and love for others.

Sharon graduated from the Academy of Holy Angels, Class of 1957. She then earned her nursing degree from Saint Mary's School of Nursing. She began her nursing career with the American Red Cross before continuing at Crystal Doctors Park, where she spent several years. She always treasured the friendships she made with her coworkers.

Sharon had a lifelong passion for antiques. Together with her sister, Colleen, she owned and operated an antiques promotions and events business, where they met wonderful people and formed many lasting friendships.

She was so very proud of her family history and cherished the heritage of the Huntington, Sir, and Leck families. She loved sharing family stories and preserving the memories and traditions that connected generations.

More than anything, Sharon loved her family. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She will be remembered for her gentle heart, quiet strength, steadfast faith, and unwavering love.

The family extends their deepest gratitude to the staff at Carver Ridge Memory Care, Lifespark Hospice, and St. Victoria's Catholic Church for their exceptional care, kindness, and good work.

There will be a visitation for Sharon on Friday, July 31, 2026 beginning at 10 AM at St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church, 7180 N. Hemlock Lane, Maple Grove, following which a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Joseph the Worker, with interment at Gethsemane Cemetery, where she will be laid to rest beside her beloved husband, George.

Her faith was her strength.

Her love was her greatest gift.

She will be forever in our hearts.
