Sharon Pedercini, age 94, formerly of Plymouth, MN, passed away peacefully on June 7 in Scottsdale, AZ, surrounded by her family.
Sharon is survived by her daughter, Cara (Mike) Jennings; grandsons, Michael (Calley) Jennings and Ryan (Brianna) Jennings; great-grandson, Colton Jennings. She was preceded in death by her husband of 70 years, Mario, and son, Michael Pedercini.
Born in Anoka, MN, on August 6, 1931, Sharon was a teacher and taught for 31 years in district 281. She was a kindergarten teacher and then became an early childhood special education teacher. She especially loved teaching the little ones.
Sharon was a wonderful, loving wife, mom, grandma and great grandma, and she cherished her friendships old and new. Sharon loved being a grandma and was always so supportive and proud of her grandsons Michael and Ryan. She loved playing the piano, telling jokes, baking, watching tennis, and cheering on her Minnesota Vikings. Her personality and sense of humor made her larger than life.
Sharon was made for more than this life on earth and will always be remembered for her “happy smile” and famous lemon bars. Sharon will be missed by all who knew her.
A celebration of life will be held at Wayzata Community Church, 125 Wayzata Blvd. Wayzata, MN on Monday August 24th at 2:00pm. Visitation to follow. Please wear bright colors to the service in honor of Sharon.
