Susan A. Benson

Benson, Susan A., of Plymouth went to be with our Lord on Tuesday, September 17th at the age of 91. Preceded in death by her loving husband, Robert; daughter, Charlotte; son-in-law, William Solyst; parents, Frank and Elizabeth Schommer; 6 sisters and 4 brothers. Survived by children, Marion Lukawski (Randy Wymore), Jeannie (Marv) Henfling, Cindy Solyst (Don) Gaspar, Bonnie (Jeff) Harkey, Steve Benson, Kathy Sayles; 10 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; brother, Francis Schommer (Germaine); sister, Betty Ann Farr; many nieces, nephews and their extended families. Susan worked for many years as a waitress and finishing cook for Town & Country Caterers. She cherished spending time with family and enjoying her beautiful flowers. A celebration of her life and Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Wednesday, September 25th at 9:30 AM at the Church of St. Anne, 200 Hamel Rd., Hamel. Visitation with family Tuesday, September 24th from 5:00 – 7:00 PM at Gearty-Delmore Plymouth Chapel, 15800 37th Ave. No. Private burial to follow luncheon at Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
