Suzanne Luckow

Suzanne Kay Luckow, beloved daughter, sister, aunt, and great aunt, passed away on September 23, 2025, at the age of 62.

Susie was born on January 25, 1963, to John and Gloria Luckow in Golden Valley, Minnesota. The youngest of three girls, she grew up as the cherished sister of LeAnn Miheve and Mary Beth Dunham.

At the age of seven, Susie moved into a group home at Mount Olivet Rolling Acres in Victoria, Minnesota-a nonprofit organization dedicated to serving children and adults with intellectual, developmental, and physical disabilities.

There she lived for 55 years, cared for with love, dignity, and respect. Her family is deeply grateful to the remarkable caregivers and staff who not only looked after her well-being on a daily basis, but also gave her joy, friendship, and a true sense of belonging. In knowing she was so well-loved on earth, we hold close the peace of her eternal rest.

Though her life was shaped by physical and mental disabilities, Susie radiated a spirit that touched everyone she met. She had a gentle way of reminding those around her of life's simplest pleasures-sleeping in, playing with her electric keyboard, attending Sunday worship, visits with family, and time spent with the Mount Olivet Rolling Acres community. Her joy was contagious, and her family will forever remember the way her face lit up when a familiar visitor arrived.

Susie is survived by her sisters, LeAnn Miheve and Mary Beth (Kent) Dunham; nieces Mary Sue (Tom) Walker, Elizabeth Miheve, Catherine (Conrad) Olson, and Abbie (Alex) Patiño; nephew Christopher (Madison) Dunham; and seven great-nieces and two great-nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Gloria Luckow, and her brother-in-law, John Miheve.

In lieu of flowers, the family prefers that donations be made in her memory to Mount Olivet Rolling Acres Residence, 7200 Rolling Acres Road, Victoria, MN 55386.

Susie's Celebration of Life will be held Tuesday, October 7 at Mount Olivet Lutheran Church West Chapel (7150 Rolling Acres Road, Victoria, MN, 55386). Visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m., followed by a service at 12:00 p.m., with lunch immediately afterward. A private interment will be held for family members at the Crystal Lake Cemetery in Minneapolis, Minnesota the following day.
