Terence A. Black

Terence A. Black ( Terry ) was born December 6th,1939 to Harry Lawson Black and Leslie Merle ( Wright ) Black. Terry spent the first 5 years of his life on the family homestead in Ball Club Township, Cass County. The family then moved to Grand Rapid and Terry started school, graduating in 1957. Then joining the Navy. After the Navy Terry married Bonnie Jean Polzin and had a son Craig then moved to Minneapolis. They were transferred to Memphis Tennessee where a second son Scott was born. They were then transferred to Atlanta Georgia and back to Minneapolis where daughter Teri Lynn was born. Bonnie succumb to cancer in 1997. Terry spent his life working in the food industry and the last 30 plus years working for the Everfresh Food Corp. where he met and married Michelle LaVonne Gennaro, retiring at age 71. Terry has 8 grandchildren, and 4 great grandchildren. Terry was preceded in death by brother Don, sister Beverly and parents.

Terry will be buried with Honors at Ft. Snelling National Cemetery and a Celebration of his life will be held at a later date.
