Thomas Roland Berry , 80, of Robbinsdale, Minnesota passed away peacefully at home Friday, May 26th. He was born on March 7th, 1943, in Wooster, Ohio to the late Donald and Winifred (Kerns) Berry. He is also preceded in death by his sister Marjorie Kay Overly.

He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Judith Ann (Short) Berry; daughters; Jill (Emmanuel) Camburako of Overland Park, Kansas, Lisa (Todd) Willis of Clearwater, Florida, and Krista (John) Vylasek of Blaine, Minnesota, one sister; Patricia Robb of Bellefontaine, Ohio, two brothers; Timothy (Betty) Berry of Bellefontaine and Russell (Nancy) Berry of Holiday, Florida, nine grandchildren; Michael Camburako, Thomas Camburako, Nicolas Camburako, Sophia Camburako, Wayne Willis, John Vylasek, Joseph (Abby) Vylasek, Joshua Vylasek, and Jordan Vylasek. A great-grandson; Aaron Vylasek-Sahr. Plus, many nieces and nephews.

Tom was a 1963 graduate of Bellefontaine High School. He played the trumpet in the marching band. Tom served in the Ohio National Guard from 1963-1969 and earned rank of sergeant.

He had a long and successful career as a master tool and die maker, mostly with Honeywell Aerospace and eventually owning his own business in Clearwater, Florida.

Tom enjoyed spending time with Judy and his daughters. He instilled the importance of family, hard work, and of having a well-balanced life. Activities including camping, bass fishing, swimming, and playing cards. He liked going to stock car races, was a NASCAR fan, and a huge fan of The Ohio State University Buckeyes. There were many weekend camping trips in Ohio, Indiana, and vacations to Florida.  In his retirement, Tom enjoyed vegetable gardening, taking walks around town, working in his workshop, and summertime cookouts with family. He helped family and neighbors with their projects as well. Tom had the gift of striking up a conversation with anyone.

Tom is well loved and will be missed by many.

A private memorial service will be held by immediate family.
