Fleming, Thomas P. Oct 8, 1926 - Jan 1, 2026
Tom had a long life full of God's blessings. He was known as the luckiest of all lucky Irishmen. Gerry, his wife of 71 years, was considered "The Ideal Poster Person for Minnesota Nice!"
They were blessed with five wonderful children, Kathy (Ed) O'Rourke, Joan (Bob) Miller, Sharon (Jeff) Meister, Tom and Pat, eleven fun-loving grandchildren and thirteen sweet great-grandchildren.
Tom was born, raised and educated in Philadelphia. He graduated from Wharton School at U of PA under The GI Bill. Fifty years of his working career was spent in Minnesota in the Industrial Supply field.
He served in the Navy as a teenager and again in the Army during the Korean Conflict.
Tom loved his church, his family and the many opportunities his work provided. He was a member of Minneapolis Golf Club since 1959 and in addition to golf he liked all sports, bridge, Manhattans and singing to anyone who would listen.
The family would like to give special thanks to the wonderful staff and friends at Amira Choice Plymouth.
Mass of the Christian Burial will be held at St. Bartholomew, 630 E. Wayzata Blvd, Wayzata, MN on Friday, January 23, 2026 at 11:00 AM with visitation one hour prior.
In lieu of memorials, Tom would rather you take a loved one to dinner and raise a toast in his honor.
