In Loving Memory of Tyrone Ruffin November 1, 1949 ~ October 5, 2025

Tyrone Ruffin, a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and proud veteran, passed away peacefully on October 5, 2025, at the age of 75. Born in Greenville, Mississippi, Tyrone lived a life defined by service, humility, and unwavering love for his family.

After serving honorably in the United States Army, Tyrone built a successful career as an accountant. Later, he embraced a second chapter as a school bus driver, where his warm smile and steady presence brightened the days of countless children. His work ethic and quiet strength were admired by all who knew him.

Tyrone was a passionate supporter of his children and grandchildren, rarely missing a game, match, or meet. Whether cheering from the bleachers or offering words of encouragement, he was their biggest fan. He also found peace and fascination in watching airplanes take off and land, often spending hours at the airport simply observing the skies.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Ruthann Ruffin; his children Yusef (Angela), Tre (Jamie), Berene Anderson (Rob), Tyrone Jr.(Kelsey), and Rudy; and his grandchildren Donte, Ratisha, Sabrina, Nabreea, Jakaela, Brysen, Noelle, and Kameron as well as great grandchildren, two sisters, two brothers and numerous nieces and nephews. Tyrone’s presence was a steady anchor in the lives of those around him, and his memory will continue to inspire and comfort.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, October 16th at Parkers Lake Baptist Church. Visitation one hour prior to the service at the church. Tyrone will be laid to rest with military honors at Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
