Verna A. Thurs

Verna A. Thurs, age 92, of Hopkins, formerly of Plymouth.

Verna is preceded in death by husband Orville and daughter, LeeAnn Armstrong. She is survived by daughters, Janice Thurs-Sherlock and Nancy Kennedy; son-in-law, David Armstrong; grandchildren, Chris Armstrong (Jackie), Patrick Armstrong (Jaimi), Daniel Armstrong (Becky), Katherine DeVeau (Jim), Megan Fried (Andrew), Melissa Onan (Dave), Madeline and Zack Kennedy; great-grandchildren, Tristen, Belinda, Isabelle, Elliot, Seth and Arianna Armstrong; Audrey and Charlie Fried; Lucy and Jack DeVeau.

Verna had passions for sewing, playing cards with friends and family and volunteering in her community. She will be remembered for her kindness and loving spirit.

Funeral service 11 AM Thursday, 12/28 at Gearty-Delmore Chapel of Plymouth, 15800 37th Ave. N. with visitation 1 hour prior to service.  Interment Lakewood Cemetery.
