Veryl Ann Lange

92, of Wayzata died on Aug. 20, 2026. She was born to Howard and Dora Lange in Waconia, MN. She grew up in Minneapolis and then moved to the East Coast at 17 years old where she worked as a secretary for the Navy, supporting numerous admirals for over 25 years. She was a talented artist, crafter, and seamstress who enjoyed designing things and then making them come to life. Veryl was quite the social butterfly, made friends easily, loved to dance, fish, and play cards. She was the smartest, most independent and sassiest person we had the pleasure of loving. We were lucky to have her for so long. She will be greatly missed.

She is survived by niece Carol (Jeff) Horman, nephew Mark (Amber) Lange, niece Diana (Tom) Daniels, brother-in-law Joseph York. She reveled in the title of "GREAT" Auntie Veryl to nieces and nephews, Emily & Taylor Horman, Evan & Mason Lange, Katie, Mark & Matthew Daniels. Preceded in death by partner of 25 years David Pitts, brother Leroy, sister-in-law Jesus, and sister Irmgard.

Honoring Veryl's wishes, there will be a private family burial.
