WALLACE D. GEORGE (Wally)

On April 24, 2026 our beloved Wally was called home into the arms of the Good Shepherd. He went peacefully at the age of 94 with his family by his side at his home of 4 plus years, Good Samaritan Society, Robbinsdale, MN. The family is thankful for Wally's care team at Good Samaritan as well as Genevive Health Care and Optage Hospice for the kind and loving care he received.

Wally was born May 21, 1931 in Minneapolis. His family later moved to Woodstock, MN where he grew up, He attended high school in Pipestone, MN. Upon graduation he entered the U.S. Air Force and served his country for 4 years. He returned to Minneapolis and worked most of his working career for ARA, currently known as ARAMARK. In 1963 he married Darlene J. Lembke and settled in Crystal, MN where they raised their family.

Wally is survived by his wife of 63 years Darlene, his children Jodi and Jason (Bena) and Grandchildren Cory, Kaleb, Jerred and Jakob, 1 brother and 1 sister, several nieces and nephews, and other special relatives and friends.

A memorial service will be held at Elim Lutheran Church, 3978 West Broadway Avenue, Robbinsdale, MN at 12PM with visitation one hour prior to the service. Private internment will be at Fort Snelling at a later date
