Wendy Lynn Buonfiglio

BUONFIGLIO, WENDY L., age 58 of Plymouth, passed away at home surrounded by family on February 27, 2026 after waging a courageous battle against endometrial cancer.

Wendy is survived by husband David Buonfiglio; son Thomas Skindingsrud; daughter Kathryn Peterson (Nolan); stepchildren Jinny and Christian Buonfiglio; Father Roger Cymbaluk, mom Paula Cymbaluk; brothers Michael Cymbaluk (Holly) & Tate Cymbaluk (Jody). She is also survived by nieces and nephews (McKenzie, Addison, Tyler, Tate, Chase, Cody, Quinn, Grant), aunts, and uncles.

Wendy was a Certified Master Gardener through the University of Minnesota, a masterful home cook, a loving and dedicated para-professional in the Wayzata School District, a travel agent and tour guide. She was active in her church (St. Bart’s), and above all else, a devoted and wonderful wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend who loved fiercely.

Mass of Christian Burial 11 AM Friday, March 6, 2026, at the Church of St. Bartholomew, 630 E. Wayzata Blvd., Wayzata, MN. Interment Groveland Cemetery, Minnetonka. Visitation Thursday, March 5, 2026, 4-7 PM at Gearty-Delmore Plymouth Chapel, 15800 37th Ave N., and Friday at St. Bart’s after 10 AM prior to Mass.
