Kaess, William (Bill) age 81, of Minneapolis. Died July 6, 2026.
Survived by wife, Naomi Kaess (née Kay); children, Emily, Elizabeth, Karl, and Genevieve Kaess; Anne (Donovan) Slinkard, Maria (Alan) Johnson; six grandchildren; brother, Michael (Lori) Kaess; sister-in-law, Peg Kaess; brother-in-law, Christopher (Debbie) Kay; nieces, nephews, and friends.
Raised in Little Canada and Minneapolis. Graduate of De La Salle High School (’62) and the College of St. Thomas (’68). Watchmaker, repair man, and lifelong gardener.
Funeral Mass 10:30 AM Friday, July 24, at Ascension Catholic Church, 1723 Bryant Ave. N. Visitation 4-7 PM Thursday, July 23, at Gearty-Delmore Robbinsdale Chapel, 3888 W Broadway Ave., (763) 537-4511.
Interment Sunset Cemetery.
