Yolanda Stevens was born on March 3, 1969, in Chicago, Illinois, to Yvonne Stevens and George Stevens. She attended Dewey Elementary School and Tilden High School in Chicago.
In 1988, Yolanda moved to Minneapolis. She later returned to Chicago in 2009, where she met Anthony D. Webb in 2010.
The two were united in marriage in 2012.
Jehovah called Yolanda home on December 16, 2025.
Yolanda was a devoted mother, proud grandmother, loving sister, wife, and cherished daughter whose life was rooted in family, strength, and unconditional love. Her faith, inner resilience, and unwavering devotion carried her through life’s challenges and shaped the deep care she showed to those around her. She had a presence that brought comfort, honesty, and warmth to everyone who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Yvonne Stevens, and her husband, Anthony D. Webb.
Yolanda leaves to cherish her loving memory her father, George Stevens of Chicago; her three sons, Quentin James Rashad Hammond, Nathan Isiah Thomas, and Terrence Terrell Thomas; and her grandchildren, Hailey Sublet, McKenna Sublet, and JaVeir Hammond.
She is also survived by her siblings:
Amelia Stevens (Ron), Stephanie Stevens, Natasha Stevens (Don), Dorita Reigh (Antwan), Regina Humphrey, Tameka Humphrey, Latasha Humphrey, and Elizabeth Humphrey, and her brothers Roosevelt Stevens, Demetrius Reigh, and Satarus Reigh, all of Chicago.
Yolanda also leaves to mourn her passing four aunts: Ruby Alfear, Denise Daniel, Shirley Daniel, and Mattie Stevens; three uncles: John Stevens and Melvin Stevens of Chicago, and O’Neil Daniel of Oklahoma; along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members, and friends.
“The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.”
— Psalm 34:18
May God grant Yolanda eternal rest and peace, and may He comfort her family and loved ones with strength, love, and healing during this time and always.
