Diane Elizabeth (Weber) Carlson, Age 88, of Maple Grove, beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend, entered heaven, May 25, 2020.

Preceded in death by parents, Helen (Kaddatz) Weber and Clifford Weber; and sisters, Carol Fruh and Jill Olson; first husband Bruce Schmitt and second husband, lifelong companion Willard Carlson.

Survived by children, Alan Schmitt, Terri Schmitt, Kitty (Joe) Atkins, Mike Schmitt (Sonja Perpich), Barb (John) Waldoch, Peg (John) Chalich, Dave (Brenda) Schmitt and Mary Kay Hughes; step-children Jean (Rollin) Goldsberry, Marleen (Neil) Misek, Ron (Diana) Carlson, Kelly Carlson and Myron Carlson; 22 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; brother Jack (Mary) Weber; many nieces and nephews; and a host of family and friends who will miss her dearly.

She loved life and enjoyed every moment, great or small; including shelling on the beach, fishing, and campfires by the lake, but most of all she loved her family and every member had a special place in her heart.  She lived an extraordinary life and her legacy will live on through all of those who benefited from her kind spirit, immense compassion and endless generosity.

A Celebration Mass will be held 10:30 AM Saturday, July 9, 2022 at Gearty-Delmore Plymouth Chapel, 15800 37th Ave. N.  Visitation from 10 AM-10:30 AM.  Interment at St. Vincent Cemetery, Osseo.
