The Mass of Christian Burial for Eva has been livestreamed.
A video recording of the Mass has been posted underneath Eva's obituary.
Eva (Turek) Tracy, of New Hope, cherished mother and grandmother, passed away peacefully at the age of 88 on October 12, 2022.
Eva was a sweet and gentle woman with a good sense of humor who always had a smile and a kind word for everyone. After successfully raising three children with husband Harmon, she was the epitome of a doting grandmother and loved devoting her time to her six granddaughters and more recently her two great-granddaughters singing songs, reading books and making special lunches and snacks for each and lasting memories along the way. Eva was the second youngest of 15 children, growing up in Montgomery, Minnesota. She loved spending quality time with her 7 sisters, swapping family gossip and singing together and is now reunited with them all, being the last of her siblings to leave us. We can only imagine the grand reunion! Eva took pride in her well-kept home with skills learned early in life and retired from US Bank where she worked for many years.
After retiring she traveled some, crocheted a lot and loved her family and made them feel special every day. She will be missed and cherished forever. Eva is preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Harmon, her parents Frank and Anna Turek and her 14 siblings. She is survived by her children Jean Flis (Mark) of Gilbert, AZ, John Tracy (Jeanne) of New Hope, and Jeff Tracy (Carol) of Plymouth, her 6 granddaughters Tracey Freese (Derek), Tara, Laura, Megan, Olivia and Ella, and 2 great-granddaughters Reis and Wren. We love you MeeMaw.
