Harold Lawrence Winterhalter
Born April 12, 1936, in Medina, Minnesota passed away, March 10, 2023.
Predeceased by his parents, Caroline (Pouliot) and Albert; his brothers, Robert and Richard, sisters, Joanne, Patty and Joan; grandsons, Alex and Matthew.
Survived by sister, Mary (Gene) Anderson; brother, John (Judy); beloved-in-laws.
On July 20, 1957, he married Marilyn Margaret Vieau the love of his life.
They had four children, Sue (Jim) Johnson, Randy (Janet), Cindy (Jim) Ranem and Ron (Shannon); many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He graduated from Orono High School and the University of Minnesota. He proudly served his country during the Korean War in the 11th and 82nd Airbourne Divisions. He spent over 45 years as a life insurance agent. He was twice president of the Northwest Suburban Chamber of Commerce, served nine years on the Medina city council and in retirement became an avid woodcarver. Thank you to all his friends at Trails of Orono whom he considered family. Family meant everything to him. An avid card player who loved cribbage, playing well over 20,000 games in his lifetime. A humble man, farmer at heart, loved fishing, the Gophers, and the Vikings. A Christian man and lover of our Lord! He is well loved and will be dearly missed.

Mass of Christian Burial 11:00 AM, Friday, at the Church of St. Anne, 200 Hamel Road, Hamel.
Private interment St. Anne’s Cemetery.
Celebration of his life Thursday, 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM at Gearty-Delmore Funeral Chapel of Plymouth, 15800 37th Ave. N., Plymouth.
