Jocelyne Vincent, 75, of Robbinsdale, MN, passed away on April 23rd, 2022, two months after a diagnosis of pancreatic cancer. Jocelyne was born on January 20th, 1947 in Montreal, Québec. She went on to obtain a Master of Mental Health (MMH) at Johns Hopkins School of Medicine, and a Master of Social Work (MSW) at Washington University in Saint Louis. Additionally, Jocelyne was a licensed independent clinical social worker (LICSW). Jocelyne had a long career in mental health in the service of others, most recently as a clinical social worker at Behavioral Health Services in Woodbury, MN.
After retiring in 2021, Jocelyne spent her time gardening and furthering her lifelong spiritual journey. Indicative of her enduring commitment to learning, Jocelyne most recently completed a rigorous Nalanda diploma course conducted by the Tibet House, The Cultural Centre of His Holiness the Dalai Lama, in New Delhi, India. She was also a longtime member of the Twin Cities Friends Meeting, often spending holidays with the community she held dear. Jocelyne is survived by her son, Michael, and daughter-in-law, Erica.
