Mass of Christian Burial for Judith G. Boylan

Judith Gratia Boylan departed her loving family on Sunday, November 26, 2023.

Judy was born in Minneapolis, MN, on December 14, 1936, to Cecilia and Rudolph St. Anthony. She was a 1954 graduate of Washburn High School, and a 1958 graduate of the College of St. Catherine.

Judy was known for her love of music, diamonds, and travel! She was President of the Twin Cities Opera Guild, and a member of the Bach Society of MN. She taught private voice lessons as well as at Mound Westonka High School. In addition, she was Regional Director for the Metropolitan Opera. She loved working with students who were auditioning for the Met. Her love of music was portrayed in every aspect of her life. She also had a love of diamonds. She started her own jewelry business and traveled the world to find the most unique and beautiful diamonds. She continued her business up until a few months ago.

Judy split her time between AZ and MN. Her hobbies included traveling with her sister, Mary, performing with her Tip Top Dance Club in Sun City, AZ, participating in line dancing, her Cursillo Retreat Group, Investment Group, Bridge Group, attending concerts, operas, and enjoying all the activities that Sun City, AZ, had to offer. She enjoyed being involved in the community, and staying busy and active. She would always say, "The key to staying young is to keep moving."

She is survived by her children Michael Boylan, Kathy Whitaker, Susan Ascher, Stephen Boylan, and Nancy Andzulis, and Grandchildren Connor Boylan, Bobby Whitaker, Will Whitaker, Nate Andzulis, and Ellie Andzulis.

Aside from her children, Judy is survived by her brother, Joe and sister-in-law Debbie St. Anthony.  Her sister Mary Miller passed away on December 2, 2023
