James Arthur Clemens, age 69, of Plymouth. Born October 18, 1950, Jim passed away on June 30, 2020.
He was preceded in death by parents, Arthur S. and Margaret F. (Sweeney) Clemens.
Jim is survived by wife of 37 years, Marguerite (Meg); children, Daniel (Tamara) Clemens and Rebecca (Joseph) Wells; grandchildren, Luke, Sean, Allison and Mildred.
He worked with his parents on the Clemens Vegetable Truck farm in Corcoran and later worked as a National Institute for Automotive Service of Excellence (ASE) Master Automobile Technician for several Goodyear, Youngstedt’s and Firestone garages.
Jim enjoyed family times of hiking and camping, and running in several 5K’s. He has run several times in the Milk Run at the Minnesota State Fair and several times in the Plymouth in the Park Run-5K runs. As a family Jim enjoyed hiking to the tallest peaks in Wisconsin-Timms Hill, Minnesota-Eagle Mountain and in South Dakota-Harney Peak (renamed Black Elk Peak). Family camping and hiking included the North Shore in Minnesota, the Black Hills in South Dakota, Yellowstone National Park in Wyoming, Grand Canyon National Park in Arizona and the Wisconsin Dells in Wisconsin.
Memorials are preferred to the Struthers Parkinson’s Center in Golden Valley.
