LeRoy Charles Hagel

Leroy Charles Hagel, age 94, of Golden Valley, passed away peacefully on November 22, 2020.

Preceded in death by the love of his life his Sunshine Angel, Lois (Cavanagh) Hagel, parents, Arnold and Anna (Hill) Hagel, and son, John Hagel.

Survived by children, Diane (Tony) Welch, Paul (Lori) Hagel; grandchildren, Sara, Erin, Allison, Emily, Ashley, Christopher and Kendall; great-grandchildren, Chase, Drew, Patrick, Lucas, and Audrey; sister Gertrude Lacey; and sister-in-law Eileen Cavanagh.

Leroy was a hardworking, passionate, thoughtful, creative, loyal, loving husband, father and grandfather. He spent countless hours working on his many projects and was always so proud to show everyone his work. He had a great fondness for his John Deere tractors, remarkable carpentry skills, his wonderful ability to tell stories, his writings, and preserving history for generations to come. He left an imprint on everyone he met and will be greatly missed.

Mass of Christian Burial Tuesday, 12/1 at the Church of the Holy Name of Jesus, 155 Cty Rd 24, Plymouth, at 11 AM with visitation one hour prior.

Interment Holy Name Cemetery.
