Peter Milton Hayek, age 64, of Robbinsdale, MN passed away on December 3, 2021 after a courageous battle with dementia.

Peter was a talented musician, professional hockey player and dog lover. Peter was proud of his 30+ years of sobriety, loved to laugh and cherished his family and friends.

Preceded in death by mother, Joanne Hayek and brother-in-law, Rick Ryan.

Survived by father, Pete Hayek; significant other, Karen Gaskell; siblings, Debbie Ryan, Dawn (Mike) Lorenzen, David Hayek, Steve (Jodi) Bloom, Melissa (Kevin) Weigel, Mark (Lisa) Hayek; nieces and nephews, David Redd, Jenn Redd, Haley (Tommy) Rogers, Jenna (Mario) Colosimo, Shelby Hayek, Emma Hayek, Dylan Hayek, Jack Weigel; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

A special thank you to the caregivers that loved and supported Peter the last four years.

A private memorial service will take place in January 2022. A celebration of life is planned for the Spring/Summer of 2022.

In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA).
