Preceded in death in December by loving wife of 66 years, Ellie; great granddaughter Ava Babler; and his siblings.
Survived by children Greg (Kathy), Katie (Dave) Locy, Jim (Mollie), Mary Clare, and Rick (Peggy); 11 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
After graduating from St. Thomas College in 1941 George served 4 years in the US Army in WWII as Master Sergent commanding Signal corps depots in England and Paris, France. He was a member of the St. Louis Council #3949 K of C and the Past Faithful Navigator of the Nicollet Assembly 4th degree K of C. George was an active participant in the KC marching unit. He worked 33 years for A.B.Dick Products Co in sales and management for many years, retiring in 1985 as general manager.
Interment Gethsemane Cemetery.
Memorials preferred to the Knights of Columbus Student Education Fund.
